Praise be to Allah, I have been fortunate, to have visited many places in many parts of the world. Among the things that would always catch my attention, definitely would be the sunsets. I love sunsets. We may not be conscious of it, but this is among the best time to replicate the greatness of the Creator and be humbled by the magnitude of the perception.
Among the unsurpassed places to see the most excellent of what sunsets would bequeth the expanse, is my hometown. There is this stretch of road with a bit of prominence where you can observe beautiful sunsets day after day. The Kuala Lumpur skyline would be clearly seen bathe in the glorious hues. In fact, if you were to use the KESAS highway at an apt time, there is a spot where you would not miss the picturesque sun setting right in between the KLCC towers. Superb.
One of the many things that my sister Kak Nani's family and I enjoyed doing was, waiting for the sun to set each evening over in Layang-Layangan. Sometimes we would try to catch them elsewhere such as Kiamsam or Pulau Enoe.We would never fail to feel exultant and ecstatic over the parade of atypical shades each sunset would bring.
This may be inconsequential, but the gratification of observing nature exceeds whatever worry the day may have brought us. So friends, do take the time to take a glimpse of nature at its grandeur, for it would never fail to enthuse us.
